Flavour in Motion

A bartender’s journey is ever in motion, and over a course of a career, new skillsets, experiences, and approaches to flavour are constantly being developed. At Franklin & Sons, we want to champion bartenders, their stories and their progression throughout the industry, from that very first drink they learned on the bar, to the amazing serves they are creating now.

Flavour in Motion is a celebration of those industry stories and is calling all bartenders across the UK to share their journey and join in the conversation.

Brief

Taking everything that you know now, reimagine the first cocktail you ever learned to make on the bar, using the skills and tools you have developed over your bartender career to reflect your evolved tastes and experiences.

• Use at least 75ml of a Franklin & Sons product of your choice.

• Use a maximum of 60ml worth of spirit/liqueur/non-alc spirit of your choice, up to a bottle value of £45. (Combinations of products allowed, though the total volume must be a maximum of 60ml and the value of each bottle must be up to £45).

• Homemade ingredients are permitted, excluding homemade sodas, tonics or carbonated products.

• A maximum of 6 ingredients allowed (doesn’t include ice and garnish if used).

• Batched serves are not permitted – your drink will need to be created on the day.
